About the Firm:An international base firm in Cnd. that can effectively supply the industry with products to create efficiencies.Essential Tasks:

  • Process accounts payable invoices associated with the Parts Department ie. (Stock/Non-stock PO’s, DS orders, parts bills, etc)
  • Verify all invoices against PO’s and communicate any discrepancies with warehouse & parts purchasing/procurement team (ie: purchase price variances/part number changes)
  • Processing of freight invoices for all incoming and outgoing shipments to/from our Mississauga Location PDC (including charging back suppliers and dealers when necessary)
  • Maintain good standings with suppliers, keeping up to date with supplier statements. Dealing with suppliers directly to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Maintaining the open GR/IR report on a daily basis to ensure items are cleared in a timely manner.
  • Creating misc. debits and credit to dealers when necessary
  • Co-ordinate with PDC Warehouse to manage vendor shipping errors, freight claims and related credits.
  • Assist with year-end and annual accounting audits
  • Filing and general administration, as needed
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Other responsibilities (as outlined by the finance department)

REQUIRED Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset or related ERP systems
  • Experience with basic financial operations including accounts payable
  • Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations and policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook in particular
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment and discretion in all matters.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Administrative skills including repetitive data entry
