Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Sr. Application Support Engineer, will be responsible for production support of a suite of applications (13) which are small to large in complexity within HR and Compensation Technologies. The candidate will be a member of the Production Support, HR Delivery and Application Maintenance, Global Functions Technology team and will be involved in establishing consistent processes across all applications we support following the ITIL model. The candidate will be expected to be involved in the change and project processes at an early stage, in order to offer guidance and support from an operational perspective. This position provides the incumbent with opportunities in analyzing issues, identifying root cause, recommending technical changes and documenting resolution steps taken to assist in future issues. Internal support documentation will be required, as well as initiatives to improve the overall process and customer experience with Production Support, with a goal of finding and creating opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.What will you do?Collaborates with 3rd Party Vendor, business partners, and end users to resolve issues with an application.Provides consulting services on new initiatives (small to large of varying complexity).Participate in detailed design phases for small to large projects/ programs identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues.Manages the detail aspects of day-to-day operations with 3rd party vendors.Continually enhances skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systemsFacilitates small to large group meetings for technical design, decision making, and problem solving and task implementation.Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to closeWhat do you need to succeed?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
