Do you want to transform the student experience? We’re looking for software engineers to design and build Workday’s newest SaaS offering – Workday Student. You will join a dynamic team of developers that is reimagining the student experience including everything from registering for classes to financial aid. About the Role
On the Student Core team, we strive to create an immersive profile for students pertaining to the core personal data such as holds, and features that support special populations that might require differing accommodations to reduce the manual efforts of our higher ed customers and support the ongoing student experience.
We operate in an Agile environment, and often have to balance current customers while at the same time building new functionality. We have fun, are honest when issues arise, and work hard to solve the many challenges faced by our customers. The Ideal candidate will have the technical ability and an appetite for solving problems and continuously delivering and improving software at the highest quality.
About You
Basic Qualifications
3-5 years experience in software application development
2 years of Object-Oriented design and development experience
Other Qualifications
Must be a collaborative team player with good communication skills
Experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
Experience with XML-based web services and Integration technologies
Metadata-driven definitional development experience
Experience designing/developing business applications, including functional knowledge of Student Information Systems
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks or test-driven development practices
4 year or graduate degree in a computer related field or equivalent

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
