We are actively seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is related to the insurance industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with managing a range of financial processes, including handling large sets of data, conducting various accounting tasks, and performing in-depth financial analysis.Responsibilities:

• Manage and process high volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Conduct detailed analysis related to insurance payments
• Perform bank reconciliations, focusing on complex, large-scale reconciliations
• Handle balance sheet reconciliations and booking month-end journal entries
• Oversee accruals, prepayments, and amortization processes
• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform auditing tasks
• Utilize Excel for creating pivot tables and conducting v-look ups
• Use Great Plains Dynamics for various accounting functions
• Manage capital and participate in budget processes
• Download and scrutinize subledgers to ensure no duplicate entries exist.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the location of the position.

• The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience in Auditing is a must.
• Should have a good understanding of Budget Processes.
• Knowledge of Capital Management is necessary.
• The candidate should be adept at Account Analysis.
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is expected.
• Must be able to handle Month End Close procedures.
• Familiarity with Journal Entries is necessary.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Proficiency in using Great Plains (GPAC) software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics is desirable.
• The candidate should have experience in handling Accruals.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills are required.
