Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Senior Manager, Portfolio CRE IT , supports the CRE function and sets the direction and vision for the technology team. The role supports and drives initiatives, provides detailed guidance on planning and execution of project activities, and strategic engagement across technical teams, functions, and lines of business. The role will lead the CRE technology, build effective relationships with business stakeholders and a team of project managers, business analysts, quality assurance, and developers. It will provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development of the team, promoting a mindset of growth, equality, diversity & inclusion.What will you do?Leading and mentoring a team of project managers, developers, business analysts, and QE professionals, ensuring their professional growth and development; Overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.Manage a technology and project budgets, and work with the project manager to allocate resources according to people’s skills and capabilitiesProviding solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application development and implementation; Allocating and ensuring resource arrangements during the application development life cycle.Contribute directly by designing, implementing, and overseeing the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide applications; Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and timelines.Ensuring adherence to software development standards, methodologies, and best practices by conducting code review and other means; Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions;Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption;Providing technical guidance and support to the development teams;What do you need to succeed?Must HaveBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or role; 10+ Years in development field, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior developer role.Strong Experience in Technology Life Cycle, Project Management, and AgileAbility to identify and mitigate gaps related to IT RiskExperience in leading technical teamsStrong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on complex projects.Nice to HaveUnderstanding of Corporate Real Estate, such as loans, assets, capacity, future of work, etc.Experience with Python and related frameworks is a major plus.Knowledge of and experience with QE and QA AutomationKnowledge AWS or Azure cloud servicesWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
