Join us!Job DescriptionCanada Banking Operations supports a variety of Treasury management solutions including Payment processing, Cheque Clearing and Deposit services, Commercial Card processing, FX Operations, Investigations, and Client Account Management, servicing our large Corporate, Commercial, and Business Banking clients.The successful candidate will join the Canada Global Support Operations team, as Senior Operations Analyst. This is a multi-function Team of Operation Specialists providing comprehensive support for Canada Operations Production Teams.The main responsibility of this team is to establish and maintain better business practices while assuring minimal client impact. In this role the SR. Operations Analyst will be required to execute tasks and functions, manage work load of assignments across the team to the highest standard. Provide Production teams with ongoing support to execute on operational business objectives, serve our corporate clients, and manage risks appropriately.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Support:Support management routines for the Canada BranchNew Hire OnboardingFinancial Reporting including Ad hoc requestsAccess Control Representative/Application AccessInvoice ProcessingBusiness ContinuityAdministration Support/Oversight:Draft Print for cheque disbursement processAction internal partner inquiries/troubleshooting in a timely mannerOversee inventory and supply order requirements for the branch including custom draft stockGap/Risk Assessments & Operational Efficiency:Analyze current processes to assess and mitigate riskReview current processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to save cost and increase efficiencyGovernance Oversight:Execute governance processes for key horizontal functions including Procedure/Process Maps, DOA Limits, MFA, SharePoint, FileNet, BCMR, etcEnsure consistency and quality of procedures across each functional areaHealth & Safety:Evaluate facility operations and personnel for safety and health regulations complianceEnhance safety standards by conducting regular facility inspections and addressing potential hazards promptlyAudit:Support audit and contingency testingQualificationsThree to five years of experience within Operations environment with a financial institutionPost-secondary education or equivalent experience
