Job Summary As the Sr. Planning Analyst, you will support the team in monitoring, reporting and analysis of the overall project portfolio. You will assist the Planning Manager by creating reports and providing analysis on projects and portfolio budgets to ensure accuracy of the financials.Job DescriptionSenior Planning AnalystWhat is the opportunity?As the Sr. Planning Analyst, you will support the team in monitoring, reporting and analysis of the overall project portfolio. You will assist the Planning Manager by creating reports and providing analysis on projects and portfolio budgets to ensure accuracy of the financials.What will you do?

  • Supports all BAU Portfolio and Financial activities including opening and closing projects, headcount and professional fees tracking, demand to capacity analysis and analysis of annual/quarterly/monthly targets to actuals/forecasts.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to track project progress and funding
  • Ensure 100% recovery of resources in our tools.
  • Month End Processing: Ensure month end financials are accurate and complete
  • Support the planning and delivery of town halls and ask me anything sessions
  • Supports supplier delivery activities including oversight of work authorization processing, milestone trackers, and statements of work.
  • Helps with the creation of executive level insights related to Supplier, Portfolio and Financial activities.
  • Develop ad hoc queries for management reporting, identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Maintain SharePoint repository
  • Participate in various employee engagement activities, preparing materials and assisting with planned events

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Undergraduate degree Business or Finance/Accounting (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications with advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Finance, Solid Financial Management and Reporting Skills
  • Excellent analytical skills – proven experience conducting data analysis/discovery/aggregation as a foundation to providing meaningful analysis and management reporting to facilitate business decisions at a senior management/executive level
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice-to-have

  • Creativity in preparing presentation decks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio for data mining and analysis of data and databases and development of reports
