This role will monitor adherence to records management across Personal and Business Banking and assigned LOBs. They will work with Legal to co-ordinate the collection of documents for Legal cases. In addition they will provide support on various initiatives involving records.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you’ll succeed
- Records Management- Manage and Support LOB procedures and monitoring of compliance to CIBC Records Management Policy and serve as the Lead record retention coordinator (RRC). Support processes that will effectively lead to sustained records management. Support preservation of documents with various departments to ensure relevant documents are kept as outlined by Legal. Provide support to initiatives related to records management. Conduct analysis, compile reports and present to management as applicable.
- Cross functional relationships- Create and support awareness and education within the LOB’s we support with respect to Record Management practices. Identify and participate in the enhancement or upgrading of existing policies, processes, procedures, or systems, by researching and gathering relevant data. Working with EDRMO, Legal, Record Owners, Record Retention Co-ordinators, Directors and Leaders as required.
