Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Join the Real Time Payments team as a Site Reliability Engineer supporting applications running in various cloud platforms. This is an ambitious role that will create a vital link between QE, DevOps, Development, Infrastructure and Support teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and enjoys solving complex problems across components and technologies. In addition, the SRE’s responsibilities will also include employing engineering skills in developing and supporting monitoring solutions using ELK and Dynatrace, developing automation solution for operational toils.   • Automate, automate and automate – Identify, design, write and test automation procedures using Ansible, Python, AIOps and other technologies
  • Support applications running on Openshift, Azure and any Kubernetes based cloud environment
  • Establishing and monitoring SLO and supporting SLIs for all Real Time Applications
  • Create, maintain and support Dynatrace dashboards, alerting for new applications being developed
  • Creating and maintaining ELK infrastructure and Kibana dashboards, watchers and alerting via ELK
  • Conduct chaos tests on newer application to test for resiliency
  • Provide leadership and technical support for OAs, developers and DevOps engineers
  • Maintaining and supporting QA automation infrastructure
  • Rotational pager support

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in an application development or SRE role
  • Strong Kubernetes based cloud environments like OCP/Azure with working knowledge, experience and understanding of CICD pipeline and DevOps / Agile Methodology
  • Good communication skills, strong problem solving and leadership skills, and driven by curiosity
  • Coding experience in Java/Python, using Ansible platform
  • Experience working Mongo, MS SQL, DB/2 & similar SQL DBs
  • Experience with ELK infrastructures with strong knowledge of Kibana; Working knowledge of Dynatrace

Nice-to-have

  • Coding experience in Java/Python and/or scripting with Shell, Bash, Groovy or Javascript
  • Experience in implementing AIOps
  • Knowledge of deploying and supporting distributed applications
  • University/College Graduate, preferably graduate in computer science, finance, mathematics or physical science
