STA Engineer
About this Opportunity
We are looking for a talented STA Engineer who wants to be part of a team to grow our custom ASIC business and be responsible for STA activities at the Ericsson Austin Design Center. Ericsson’s enterprise portfolio consists of Mission critical networks, dedicated / private networks, Fixed wireless access and edge devices, small and medium business solutions, and Ericsson IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity and security solutions. This role requires a broad understanding of custom ASIC development within a physical design organization.
What you will do
- Timing modes definition
- Timing closure
- Timing margins development and deployment
- Constraints development and deployment
- Post silicon support and correlation
You will bring
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Physical Design focused on STA engineering
- Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills, with ability to communicate complex technical subjects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
This role reports to the SOC Physical Design Engineering Director
