We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.Job SummaryThis accounting staff-level position is primarily responsible for supporting transaction accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, and internal control activities. This is an opportunity for someone to build a career with a fast-growing business and be a part of improving the financial processes and procedures of the organization.Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain accounting files and records as assigned.Analyzes data and trends by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information for accuracy.Prepares transaction (e.g. journal entries, cash disbursements, cash receipts) and account reconciliations.Ensures financial data is accurate and complete before processing in Deltek Vision.Helps review and maintain accounting procedures, recommends opportunities for change.Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including Bank accounts.Meets all monthly, quarterly, and annual process and reporting deadlines.Provide support with budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis as needed.Proactively communicates potential issues to Manager.Proactively initiates monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.Participates in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.1-5 years of experience in related field.Industry experience preferred (Engineering/Architecture).Required strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and excellent communication skills.Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations.Deltek Vision systems experience preferred.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.Additional Information#LI-HybridTYLin offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
