We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.As a Staff Data & AI Engineer within the Compliance Technology team, you will assist a team of engineers, developers and program leads in leveraging data across RBC to be used in helping Compliance officers and technology leaders better understand, monitor, and manage risks at RBC. You will be responsible for applying Generative AI techniques to build solutions for compliance use cases and serve as the primary point of contact for the integration of AI into the portfolio.What will you do?Build agents (RAG and Otherwise) leveraging enterprise data which help capital markets Research, Banking, Sales and TradingManage AI Ops and pipelines for Generative AI needsFunction as the lead developer and prim contributor on AI projectsExpected to code 90% of the timeUse GitHub, Airflow, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Spark to develop and deploy ETL’s/DAG’sCreate software artifacts and patterns for reuse within the teamHelp improve data management processes towards acquiring, transforming, and storing dataLeverage DevOps practices to streamline and automate software deliveryWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have:7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field with proven experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines, DB schemas, ETL processes, and data warehousing.3+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or a related field.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.Strong experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
