  • £12.00 basic hourly rate

12 hours working 3 days out of 7 (evenings & weekend & weekend only))
16 hours working 4 days out of 7 (evenings and weekends)We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends. All our part time roles will receive every 4th weekend off (weekend only contracts are exempt from this.)WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
The ideal candidate will have a passion to ensure our customers have an amazing shopping experience, an eagerness to learn and embrace change with a solution-orientated approach to the many challenges and tasks that present themselves. You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too. Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is desirable.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYSALES

  • Build loyalty by listening to our customers & using your knowledge of IKEA product range offer informed solutions.
  • You keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience
  • You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS
You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time. Provide an efficient and accurate checkout and returns experience in the store while working with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery.
