As Performance Director, you will oversee planning, governance, KPI, performance, people and culture, and resource deployment across the Enterprise. Lead in driving collaboration between Enterprise partners through building a shared culture and behaviours. You will be focused on continuous improvement across the programme and efficient operations of the partners.What you’ll be getting up to
- Supports the Enterprise Director to define and develop the Enterprise performance and people strategy, setting clear overarching goals and objectives to drive sustainable delivery of its major infrastructure projects.
- Acts as the senior focal point for strategy and performance related matters; collaborates with Enterprise leadership, National Grid and Partners to facilitate effective communication, alignment, and decision-making.
- Oversees a strategic Integrator function that effectively collates, harmonises, and translates input into clear strategic messages, to build consensus around priorities and solutions.
- Ensures the GGP performance and control data meets the SI Onshore needs and standards
- Executes a collaborative approach to strategic planning, enabling cross-partner teams to co-create project objectives, milestones, and implementation plans, which optimise the breadth of capability and capacity to deliver project outcomes.
- Ensures the Enterprise’s multiple, diverse goals each have tailored strategies at the project level, while driving standardised planning processes across the programme.
- Oversees contingency planning and deployment of robust risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle, which reduce risk exposure through flexible and timely adjustment; ensures effective reporting to key stakeholders, such as Enterprise, Onshore and partner leaders, so that risks are managed and mitigated across the programme.
- Optimises return on investment by embedding processes across the project lifecycle, which strategically align initiatives, quantify benefits, and continuously monitor resource deployment, to enhance visibility and accountability of stakeholders involved in projects.

- Ability to inspire and motivate teams, with demonstrable track record in supervision, delegation and decision-making.
- Experience in collaborating and influencing at a senior level; able to constructively challenge and hold internal and external stakeholders at all levels to account.
- Strategic thinker, with long-term planning skills and ability to align initiatives with overarching organisational goals.
- Demonstrable track record in managing a broad and multi-faceted workload; balances attention to detail with big picture thinking and displays confidence in executing decisions.
