Part Time : 16 hoursAn exciting opportunity has arisen within our Stroke Service to work as a Band 7 Stroke Specialist Nurse Practitioner playing a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe care to our patients throughout the stroke pathway, from the emergency department to the ward, including supporting the delivery of the 24/7 thrombolysis service, at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and has a passion for delivering excellence in care, driving improvements and developments across the stroke service.Successful applicants will need to demonstrate an interest and sound clinical knowledge as well as an understanding of the specialist care and management required by patients across the pathway which includes inpatient, outpatient, and an outreach service to support patients, carers and staff with specialist advice, education and training in Stroke and its associated complications.
