Student Consultant (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) 0.2 FTE Ending 31st July 2025Department: Learning and Teaching TeamLocation: Glasgow Campus or Forres CampusSalary: Grade 3 £24,044 to £26,642 pro rata per annum*Internal Student Applications Only*The Student Support and Development Team is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated student to support institutional efforts to research, consult and promote anti-racism and race equality. As a Student Consultant, you will play a crucial role in partnership with GSA’s Equality Officer to build upon the Glasgow School of Art’s (GSA) existing work to advance equality, diversity, and inclusion. This will include working in partnership to collate student work that promotes race equality and anti-racism, conduct research into the experiences of students from ethnic minority backgrounds, identify barriers, and explore opportunities to inform action to address these challenges. Your work will directly support GSA’s efforts to meet its National Equality Outcomes and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and anti-racist institution.The successful candidate will have current experience studying at the Glasgow School of Art; have supported projects/research activities; undertaken desk-based research and consultation work, and have experience of report writing and presenting.We value lived experience as a key perspective in this role. While being from an ethnic minority background is not essential, candidates who bring personal lived experiences of racism or race inequality are strongly encouraged to apply.This role is a 0.2 FTE (7 hours per week) fixed term until the 31st of July 2025.
