The Student Engagement Administrator will be the first point of contact for departmental queries and will provide operational and administrative support across the department.You will help facilitate student groups and extracurricular activities within the Student Engagement Team. The team oversees a wide range of extracurricular activities that play a pivotal role in our goal to foster meaningful connections between students.The Student Engagement department supports over 300 student-led groups (such as societies, student media outlets, and volunteering groups) and other extracurricular activities for students (such as charity fundraising and community volunteering). The department also runs student employability and sustainability initiatives.Starting salary will be £28,879 per-annum pro-rata, inclusive of the London Allowance, with annual raises by one increment as set out in the QMUL Pay and Grading Structure.About you
We are looking for someone who can enhance the student experience, has a positive attitude, and is committed to improving the inclusivity of our activities while providing excellent service. The successful candidate will be able to use their initiative and remain flexible when handling a variety of impromptu tasks. Applicants should have excellent organizational and communication skills, experience in administration, and the ability to work with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.Benefits
