To qualify, you need to be currently enrolled as student in a degree in information technology or library technology at a college or university (undergraduate level). Additionally, you must be returning to school in the next academic term.What you need to succeed

  • ability to execute service requests for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
  • knowledge in searching peer-reviewed business databases
  • ability to search databases and summarize key executives to create executive profiles for senior leadership
  • familiarity with specialized databases for economics, business, and finance
  • capable of creating and curating information alerts using news and media databases
  • experience assisting with print collection weeding
  • strong ability to capture metadata of historical documents for digitization purposes
  • assist with various tasks or projects from other managers within the division
  • strong communication skills, both oral and written

What you need to know

  • This position is full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • You must be registered in a COOP program
  • Language requirement: English or French essential
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability
  • There will be no relocation assistance provided

  • Salary $21.95 hourly (job grade Student B)
