SSENSE has garnered critical acclaim as both an e-commerce engine and a producer of cultural content, generating an average of 100 million monthly page views.Job DescriptionOur Styling – Ready-to-wear team is looking for Stylists who will be responsible for the on-model styling of SSENSE e-commerce photoshoots. As part of our best-in-class Studio Visual Operations team, they will ensure that all styling is consistent with the SSENSE style guide and that production / productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate has the ability to understand brand identity and interpret the SSENSE art direction to deliver industry leading styling across our catalog. This role works cross functionally and demands a highly collaborative style to ensure performance and drive results.Why Join Us:Permanent employment – Occasional On-CallHourly rate starting at $24.70Flexible scheduleEmployee discountWhat you will do:Prepare & Style Merchandise: Prepare and style merchandise with an editorial and commercial focus, aligning with SSENSE’s identity and style guides.Research & Preparation: Research designers, brands, collections, and products for each photoshoot.Efficient On-Set Execution: Manage time effectively and collaborate seamlessly with the on-set production team.Versatile Styling: Execute styling across all brands, from simple to highly complex looks. * Maintain High Standards: Execute art direction briefs for special projects and maintain strict quality control, staying current with SSENSE’s art direction and industry best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Retail Management, or a related fieldA minimum of 2 years experience in visual merchandising or fashion styling, preferably in a luxury or e-commerce environmentStrong grasp of garment construction, fabrics, colour and matchingExceptional fashion and styling sense with a proven ability to stay ahead of trendsStrong knowledge of current fashion trends and luxury designer labelsWhat Sets You apart:Ability to carry out creative processes in a fast paced production environmentTeam player with great communication and interpersonal skillsCreative thinker with problem solving abilitiesProven ability to process high volumes of workflowAbility to prioritize, plan and execute
