This role would be suitable for early careers teachers who have recently qualified, fully qualified teachers who are looking for extra work alongside a permanent role, as well as teachers who may be looking to reduce their workload or working days.What are the key responsibilities of a substitute teacher?Classroom management: Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher, whilst maintaining order and discipline in the classroom. Manage student behaviour and address any disruptions, logging reports appropriately as needed.Instructional support: Deliver lessons and facilitate learning, following preset lesson plans. Assist students with assignments and questions, providing individual or small group instruction when required.Adaptability and collaboration: Be flexible and adjust to different ability levels and subjects, familiarise yourself with classroom routines and procedures.Whether you are seeking one day of work a week or five, we can offer you flexibility based around your availability with work at this school, as well as other local schools between Emsworth, Chichester, Littlehampton and surrounding areas. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
