ApplyJob SummaryDetails of PositionWhy not spend your summer in the heart of England in the ancient city of Oxford?A small, friendly summer school is seeking English teachers for our centre in the Headington area of Oxford.This is a relaxed school for mixed nationality teen learners and is a satellite campus for our main year round school nearby. The campus is in a very nice area of the city, and classrooms and accommodation are of a high standard. Students are from a multitude of nationalities and are looking for a productive but relaxed learning experience.
The positions will suit creative and flexible teachers, with an interest in gaining experience and professional development, able to develop strong rapport with learners. We prefer locally based teachers but there are also openings for residential teachers.QualificationsCandidates should be degree level qualified and have a minimum of a CELTA or Trinity TESOL + experience. Experience with a range of levels is important, as is a high level of proficiency with IT resources. Experience with teen learners is desirable.IMPORTANT: You must have the right to work and live in the UK as we cannot provide support for visa applications.CES is concerned to look after the welfare and safety of younger learners and a DBS check or local Police check will be requested in the event of a successful application.Salary and BenefitsSalary available on request. Minimum of 22.5 hours teaching per week with free board and meals for residential teachers n return for minimal residential duties. CES will also pay a stipend for basic pastoral care duties during the week.
