Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleAs the superintendent, human resources (HR), you will provide leadership, guidance and direction in the areas of human resources, security, and administration for the Cigar Lake operation through accurate interpretation of all relevant legislation, corporate and site policies.In this role, you will:
- Oversee the application and administration of employee relations programs and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction for the operation.
- Lead a team of professional HR generalists, administrators, and elder advisors.
- Work with corporate and site stakeholders to ensure camp, security, and flight services are running effectively.
- Coordinate with community leaders and liaisons to enhance Cameco’s commitments to the northern communities.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business
- A minimum of ten years of HR generalist experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Certified Professional HR (CPHR) designation

Salary Range: $141,000-$177,000Safety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employees is a top priority at Cameco.
