Our 400,000 square foot facility will serve as one of our global shipping hubs responsible for meeting the demand of our customers internationally.As a Materials Supervisor you will manage the materials department, production scheduling, purchasing/planning, and inventory control. You’ll assign and oversee the daily work of individual schedulers, buyers, and planners. In this role you will:
- Develop and execute schedules to meet site inventory goals and customer service levels.
- Continuously refine and improve material control processes to assure on-going productivity and minimal overhead costs.
- Identify capacity constrained processes and implement strategies to meet service level requirements.
- Create planning, work schedules, and work instructions; and manage execution to achieve operational excellence.
- Staff materials department and coach/develop employees.
What You Will Bring
- Required Degree: High School Degree or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred Certificate: APICS.
- 5+ years related materials experience.
- 1+ year supervisory or leadership experience.
