As Supply Chain Manager you will lead the Roastery Supply Chain team, driving the seamless flow of goods in and out with precision. Masterfully manage demand planning, fuel the Roastery’s production cycle, and ensure stock levels always align with customer needs, on time and within budget. What you’ll doBeing a Supply Chain Manager is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success – which means you’ll be:Keep our supply chain and warehouse operations safe and compliant, ensuring all activities like forklift use and vehicle movement follow safety guidelines.
Negotiate the best deals with suppliers and freight companies, keeping costs low while maintaining top performance.
Develop and execute logistics strategies, ensuring seamless tracking of goods from origin to warehouse.
Mentor and train the Roastery Supply Chain team, helping them grow and excel.
Analyse supply chain data, tackle challenges head on, and create backup plans when needed.
Ensure all processes meet legal requirements and SOX compliance standards at all times.
Drive future initiatives in line with our global end to end (E2E) strategy.Who you areIt’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in. You will have:Strong analytical thinking, system evaluation, and end-to-end supply chain oversight, ensuring efficiency and cost control.
Experience in stock and warehouse management, lean manufacturing, and effective project execution with negotiating with suppliers, mitigating risks, and maintaining cost-effective procurement and budget control.
Experienced in team management, mentoring, stakeholder relations, and clear, adaptable communication.
Advanced Excel proficiency, IT systems knowledge, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.Location: Onsite, Roastery, Basildon
