Contract Type: Full time/ Part timeGSL Education are looking for a Supply Teacher across client schools located in Hull, starting ASAP.Are you a dedicated and adaptable Supply Teacher looking for exciting opportunities in Hull? Join our vibrant and supportive school community as a Supply Teacher and make a real difference in the lives of students.We are seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across various year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher. If you have a passion for teaching and thrive in a dynamic environment, this Supply Teacher role is perfect for you!As a Support Teacher your responsibilities will be:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons as a Supply Teacher in line with the curriculum and lesson plans provided.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment as a Supply Teacher.
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback when needed as a Supply Teacher.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students as a Supply Teacher.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support the overall learning experience as a Supply Teacher.
The successful Support Teacher will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Supply Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in different schools and year groups as a Supply Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
