Details:Mission and objectives:Youth Press and Development organization is based in Zambia aims at fighting poverty and community through sustainable developmentContext:Sport can establish and strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships and networks to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The project aims at creating partnership with other organizations and communities in bringing sustainable goals to the communities by transferring skills and knowledge (North South cooperation) in deriving solutions in making sure that the poverty gap in reduced by using vocational skills as tools for social change, inclusiveness and employment. The YPDO’s assignment of taking advantage of the sustainable development goals of using sport as tool for social change in fighting poverty, unemployment and gender inequalityTask type:AdministrationTask description:The Youth Press and Development Organization (Y.P.D.O) is a non-profit organization based in Zambia. Through its sporting initiative called Malalo (Bridges) Sports Foundation (www.malalosport.com) uses sport (football and chess) as a tool for social change and is recognized by the UN office on Sport as one of the initiatives that are bringing change in communities through sport. The sporting project has soccer teams of boys’ and girls ages 10-21 playing in local leagues both district and provincial. The YPDO has partnered with the World Computer Exchange Inc of USA in setting up an Information Communication Technologies ICT center aimed at utilization of technology towards our objectives. The YPDO requires the services of volunteers to help in drafting online messages of appeal towards resources mobilization for a GoFundMe campaign aimed at acquisition through the World Computer Exchange Inc of computers and shipping from USA to Zambia.. The opportunity aims at drafting online campaign messages towards resources mobilization. The assignment is supposed to be concluded within 4 weeks. The Y.P.D.O shall provide all the required information for the volunteer on the assignment and collaborations shall be done online. Volunteers shall be required to research on these potential partners by giving weekly feeds. The volunteer should have the necessary credentials in the field of sport and partnerships. Online Volunteers must never be asked or requested to solicit donations/funds from third parties.Requirements:Research , writing ,online marketingWork Hours: 1 – 5 hours per week
