Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.Where You Would Work: Lurgan Road Day ServicesLurgan Road day services offers workskills and day opportunities for adults with learning disability. The social enterprise, Blissful Bites bakery provides the opportunity to develop vocational employment skills within a safe supportive environment. Trainees can develop their skills and knowledge in the following subjects – food Hygiene/ Allergin training/ customer care/ health & safety/ COSHH/ Bakery skills/ retail and packaging skills.For those that prefer the great outdoors, Cusher Meadow allotments is the place to be. Praxis Care occupy 4 allotment sites at Cusher Meadow and trainees enjoy growing a range of vegetables which they can take home or use at the service for lunches. Healthy carrot and coriander is most popular!
