Job Title: Supporter Marketing Officer

Job location: 23 – 25 Grantham Street, Dublin 2
Pay Band: Grade 3 €34,432 – €39,351
Contract: Permanent
Job Purpose: The Supporter Marketing Officer works across the various fundraising functions within the Supporter Marketing Team. This is a twofold role, with responsibilities split between providing administrative support to the wider team, as well as leading on donor retention inititaives. This role assists and directly contributes to income generation and the recruitment and retention of Concerns supporters.
Key Responsibilities: * Working as part of the Supporter Marketing Team to reach strategic targets and budgets, ensuring that all activity complies with Concern’s policies and procedures.
- Project management of ongoing processes that sit across our recruitment and retention activities, sush as managing and continually optimising the donor welcome progamme and donor retention email programme.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Supporter Marketing Team by liasing with key suppliers, creating campaign source codes, keeping processes and relevant team documents up to date, and providing ad-hoc support on campaigns when needed.
- Undertake project work, campaigns and research as required.
- Work with the Supporter Marketing Team to implement the Emergency fundraising strategy.
- Monitor supporter fulfilment standards to ensure excellence in the provision of customer care.
- Liaise with internal/external service providers.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential: * Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Strong communications skills.
- A third-level qualification in marketing or related discipline.
- Experience in direct marketing activities.
Desirable: * Some fundraising experience.
- Analytical skills and an aptitude for numbers.
- Knowledge of development issues and a commitment to Concern’s work with people in the developing world.
