Responsibilities include conducting thorough sustainability assessments, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices. You will assist in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, conducting research, supporting ESG surveys, tracking progress, and preparing reports to communicate our sustainability performance. The role requires staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, contributing to the development of sustainability policies, and engaging with stakeholders to foster a culture of environmental stewardship.   • Assist in the preparation and administration of Materiality assessments.
  • Manage software tools or template used for sustainability data collection and reporting.
  • Working with local and international teams across different time zones to ensure data collection adhere to timeline, sending reminders when necessary.
  • Research and stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of sustainability projects.
  • Preparing documentation required for contract
  • Maintain and ensure project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports are in place.
  • Creating and managing Purchase Orders in Coupa, coordinate RFPs, track payment milestones and coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate invoice were issued.
  • Assist in ensuring that the organization complies with environmental regulations and sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Help prepare reports for government agencies or third-party sustainability certifications.
  • Conduct research on sustainability-related topics and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Prepare sustainability reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders, such as investors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Help organize training sessions and workshops.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, managing project documents, and assisting with presentations.
  • Assist in developing communication materials, including newsletters, blogs, or social media posts, to promote sustainability initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to integrate sustainability principles into various aspects of the organization. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
  • Adhere to Jabil’s environmental, health & safety, and security requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with GRI, SASB, United Nations SDGs, Carbon Footprint calculations, and relevant standards including ISO 14044, ISO 14064, ISO14067, GHG Protocol, SBTi, TCFD, etc. Experience in environmental management systems would be beneficial.
  • Possess strong data analysis skills.
  • Possess critical thinking skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, complex analysis and ideas in a concise manner.
  • Professional demeanor with competencies in engaging both customers and company leadership.
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must work well in both individual and team settings in a highly matrixed organization.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, natural sciences, environmental engineering or related majors
  • At least 2 years experience in a professional service environment, with a focus on sustainability reporting and carbon management strategies.
