We are looking for a passionate and committed person to lead our Sustainability Management Practice. You will have considerable experience in sustainability consulting or sustainability / ESG advisory and have helped organisations create actionable pathways to achieving their operational and supply chain goals including net zero, nature positive, circularity, disclosure, energy and/or social sustainability.
You will be part of the DX (Digital Transformation) Services team consisting of specialists in a range of different disciplines, including digital advisory, business consulting, customer experience, employee experience, business change and data. The Sustainability Management Practice supports the entire customer journey from advisory, through to scoping and delivery of sustainability technology and services in response to their specific requirements.
As well as managing the team, you will work in matrix teams to support business development and client development activities, win, and deliver project work, and support the creation of new capabilities and services.
Your team will collaborate with customers to understand their business strategy and develop solutions and strategies which will support their sustainability outcomes and targets. You will work with sales colleagues on win strategies and provide the environmental and sustainability input to those strategies. You will ideally be a member of a relevant professional body in the environment and sustainability field.
Your experience
- Understanding of the key sustainability issues and drivers and how they link to business value.
- Detailed knowledge across the broad spectrum of environmental and social sustainability standards, reporting frameworks and legislation.
- Proven experience in advising and guiding companies on the steps they need to take to achieve their sustainability goals including strategy and planning, and project execution.
- Deep understanding and proven application of sustainability best practices in areas of reporting, goal setting and tracking, operations and supply chain, digitization, business model innovation and value measurement
- Recognized qualifications in sustainability and business accreditations.
- Understand the role technology can play in helping an organization meet its sustainability objectives and how technology itself can be more sustainable.
- Communication and presentation skills which allow you to articulate the outcomes sought by all levels of organizations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and matrix environment, both delivering and managing team members to successfully deliver projects.
