We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!What You Will Be DoingAs a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Develop Embedded Software
-Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS). Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking. -Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
-Linux/Windows
-Experience working with an RTOS
-C++
-Experience integrating embedded devices
-Experience integrating software with FPGAs
-Experience Integrating hardware and software
-Experience integrating closed loop systems
-Experience working with multidiscipline teams
– Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
– Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.Desired skills-Experience mentoring / sharing knowledge with junior engineers
-Experience with GitLab and JIRA
-Experience working with embedded systems
-Experience using configuration management systems such as git
