Working as part of the Finance team, you’ll support Kew’s mission by joining the Financial Accounting team, ensuring that Kew’s financial systems operate efficiently and are being used to their full potential.

Duties will include:

– Ensure Agresso is operating effectively and identify opportunities for system development to increase efficiencies throughout the business.

– Develop reporting to meet needs throughout the Finance team and across the wider business.

– General system administration including changes in user access, creation, and maintenance of roles, set up of authority levels, set up of codes, and closing periods.

– Provide a key link between Finance, IT, and external consultants in planning medium and long-term projects such as upgrades, system development, system implementation, and interfaces with other systems.

You should be at least part qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant accounting experience within a complex organisation, preferably from the commercial or not-for-profit sector. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational, communication and problem solving skills are essential to the role. You should also have strong Excel skills and Agresso experience would be desirable.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary will be £43,123 – £50,059 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
