It is seeking highly qualified and energetic Account manager/Application Engineer for Electrical Products Segment. The candidate will play a significant role in business generation of Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, busway, transformers, unit substations, battery, power factor capacitors, UPS by offering a solution that best fits our customer needs and ensuring competitive pricing. The Application Engineer will work closely with Siemens Sales and direct customers in the data center, industrial, construction and utility markets on technical, contractual, and commercial issues. This role will have sales target, and responsible to develop and maintain new and existing accounts.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • The Account Manager/Application Engineer is responsible for business generation of Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, and Panelboards through the following:
  • Provide technical support to Siemens Sales and customers.
  • Analyze customer’s technical specifications and one lines, apply appropriate product offerings to meet the customers’ expectations in cost-effective and timely manner, offer alternative solutions to optimize profitability while meeting customer needs.
  • Follow up on opportunities to confirm if they have been won, lost, or abandoned.
  • Work directly with project management, factory engineers and schedulers to ensure a successful project execution.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2 plus years of in systems application
  • 3 plus years of electrical products accounts management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Possess basic level of technical knowledge with the application of electrical distribution products and systems.
  • Excellent team player and demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communications skills to communicate with internal and external customers effectively and accurately.
  • Basic financial knowledge to understand and participate in ongoing business planning and support the product as well as project lifecycle management processes.
  • Ability to identify market trends and using this information, work closely with Marketing and Technology to create and justify projects to close the identified gaps.
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office tools, Salesforce, and product configuration/pricing applications.
  • Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for low voltage equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience with the application of electrical distribution products and systems with a focus on Low voltage switchgear products in data center, construction, industrial and utility related market segments.
  • Knowledge and experience with evaluating single line diagrams (SLD), relay PLC schemes, communication network diagrams (media & protocols).

  • The pay range for this position is $97,500 – $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
