This position will provide technical oversight and direction in support of functional test of harness manufacturing in a production setting. This position is in support of the latest cutting-edge Aerospace programs to include Manned Space Systems, Hypersonic Missiles, Missile Defense, and NASA programs.Summary of key duties for this position:
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements.
- Develops, prepares, and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting production and development programs.
- Performs data review and data reduction and generates final reports.
- Provides troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
- Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
This position is to support our 2nd shift on a 4×10 schedule: Monday-Thursday 1530 – 0200.
The position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.Basic Qualifications
- Familiarity with analog and digital measurement techniques and instrumentation (e.g. RF Test Equipment, DVM, Power Supplies, etc.).
- Experience with technical writing (for example, technical writing for test procedures or reports)
- Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Desired skills
- Active Secret clearance
- Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
- Certified Test Conductor
- Experience with Automation Framework
- Experience directing technicians
- Experience leading small teams
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with DITMCO and CIRRIS
- Experience with DOORS requirements database
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent technical writer (job entails writing test procedures and reports) and proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
