About The RoleJob Purpose:As a key member of the Systems Training Team, you’ll update existing content, create and design new training material required to support the active systems in use across AFG and deliver coaching, training and support using digital and face-to-face channels and platforms.You’ll support operational teams to use AFG systems efficiently, consistently and drive up data accuracy. Your training will digitally engage people and promote best practice. You’ll play a key role in the AFG Digital Champions program, understanding what training is needed to support operational colleagues.A great communicator, you’ll have the confidence, patience and enthusiasm needed to explain technical system subjects in a clear and easy to understand way. You will be a digital ambassador for AFG and promote our systems and chosen platforms to all staff.Key Accountabilities:To maintain current content as well as create and design new training material needed to support AFG operational systems.To work with the Systems Training Manager to create an effective training rollout plan.To deliver the training using face-to-face and digital platforms, supporting the digital ambitions of the organisation.Evaluate skill and knowledge competence of staff.Understand and have a strong working knowledge of current AFG systems.To be seen as the ‘knowledge expert’ on our systems and engage, challenge and influence our workforce to use our systems correctly and efficiently through best practice.To be competent in the use of Microsoft applications and other similar digital platforms and equipment to enable and support the systems training programmes.Provide one to one coaching and small group coaching as and when needed to further develop individual system skill and knowledge.Responsibilities Common to all staff membersDemonstrate good judgment and sound decision making by reflecting an appropriate situational awareness, understanding of context and making informed choice when reaching decisionsLead and promote initiatives that support our organisational aim to be socially and environmentally responsibleLead and support initiatives/projects that promote the use of ICTEstablish, maintain and develop professional working relationships with colleagues and external partnersTo contribute generally to the development of quality servicesTo uphold the values, mission and vision of AFG at all timesTo adhere to AFG policies and procedures and to operate within the law at all timesTo demonstrate continuous professional development, encouraging others to do the same and to operate within the AFG performance management frameworkTo work with Corporate teams effectively to ensure the best outcome for the people supportedTo comply with Equality and Diversity policyTo comply with our Employee CharterTo work flexibly in accordance with organisational needTo travel within the operational and business area of AFGAbout UsWe’re Alternative Futures Group, a health and social care charity providing specialist support for people with a learning disability or mental health condition.We’re proud to have been positively changing lives and enabling people to achieve amazing outcomes for over 30 years.We have a vision to create a world where amazing people do amazing things every day.
