As part of the continued evolution of our Talent Acquisition function, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to focus on hiring for our UK, European and Asia business. Beazley have substantial grown plans and as a Talent Acquisition Partner you can be at the forefront of bringing market leading talent to our business.We are looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment, direct sourcing and focused on finding experienced technical specialists, SMEs and operational staff to support our organisational success. The role will predominantly be focused on finance, risk and compliance hiring but will also be required to support more broadly across key functional areas.You will champion our new talent acquisition approach & strategy, challenge the status quo and take a diverse & inclusive approach to acquiring talent.The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and will need to understand our organisational skill requirements both now and in the future, building the right internal and external talent pipelines accordingly.About UsBeazley is a specialist insurance company with over 30 years’ experience helping people, communities, and businesses to manage risk all around the world.   • Drive the recruitment process from beginning to end acting as SME/trusted adviser to hiring teams through the process
  • Have a direct sourcing orientated approach to recruitment, performing full lifecycle recruiting at pace
  • Create tailored sourcing strategies to attract high quality, diverse, active and passive candidates by sourcing, maintaining candidate pipelines, pursuing referrals and developing meaningful relationships
  • Proactively represent Beazley’s brand in the external talent landscape and provide candidates a best-in-class experience
  • Support and develop the TA strategy and approach to provide greater access and visibility of talent across the business
  • Championing and evolving the strategy for high volume hiring within Finance, Risk and Compliance as well as more broadly within the organisation where required
  • Central to the attraction strategy should be how to engage and attract a diverse talent pool, specifically:
  • Monitoring market trends, using it to pivot Beazley’s talent acquisition strategy as needed to achieve our I&D goals;
  • Ensure that an inclusive approach is taken throughout Beazley’s hiring and recruitment practices, including our external sourcing partners;
  • Work with the broader TA Team and social impact partners to develop and maintain relationships with external partners and networks to achieve our inclusion and diversity ambitions
  • Be a key point of contact for stakeholders, working with the Talent Acquisition Manager, UK and rest of world and business partner teams to ensure you understand resourcing plans, and anticipate hiring needs, supporting them in managing headcount as appropriate
  • Develop insight and knowledge of key front office talent markets in a variety of locations across the UK, Europe and Singapore, to support international hiring and to proactively build a pipeline of talent
  • Ensure that the candidate and manager experience is at the forefront of the end-to-end hiring journey
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, job duties, qualifications and skills
  • Interview and screen applicants to evaluate alignment with position requirements
  • Maintain external networks to keep abreast of developments in the Talent Acquisition space to ensure that the team are delivering a best-in-class service. This should include a network of external partners that can help Beazley to achieve their hiring ambitions
  • A desire and ability to support on broader value-add Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Significant level of recruiting/talent acquisition experience, ideally in-house or RPO
  • Experience working within the Insurance industry or Financial Services (highly desirable)
  • A high degree of customer focus putting both candidate and manager experience at the forefront
  • Proven and demonstrable direct sourcing skills using a variety of web-based tools and search strategies, especially LinkedIn and LinkedIn Talent Insights
  • Experience hiring multiple concurrent junior-mid level positions, with a high degree of organisation and efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Experience working across multiple European locations, and building/managing sustainable relationships with BP teams, executives, senior managers, and other stakeholders
  • Proven experience in assessing, qualifying, interviewing, and screening potential candidates for both technical and non-technical roles
  • Proven ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and build strong, productive relationships in an agile environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an appetite to find ways of doing things better
