The Vacancy
Wates Group is looking for an experienced HR Analyst to work closely with the Talent and Resourcing Director with the management of Talent and Succession activity across the Group, including associated senior leadership development. These are important and high-profile elements of the People Strategy. The role encompasses data management, analysis, insights reporting, stakeholder engagement and administration of senior leadership development activities. The role can be delivered with flexibility on location with regular visits to the Head Office in Leatherhead.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for you to be highly skilled in the management and analysis of confidential data with strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to gather insights from data and report these clearly, be highly numerate, and demonstrate analytical thinking. The role will also require you to build effective relationships and communicate with all levels of the organisation. Responsiveness, resilience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm are all key attributes needed for the role. Experience of HR systems (ideally iTrent), Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are also vital.
As Talent and Development Analyst you will:
- Co-ordinate the annual Talent and Succession review to deliver against key milestones and deadlines.
- Collate Talent and Succession information from multiple sources, identifying gaps and anomalies, as well as resolving queries.
- Analyse data to produce statistics and metrics, identify trends and key insights, and prepare summaries for reporting, converting data into information which tells a story.
- Plan and administer senior leadership development activity for leadership talent to include career coaching, career development planning and leadership programme participation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records for all groupwide Talent data, metrics, and Succession plans for business and regional boards, creating and maintaining accurate dashboards.
