Are you an experienced recruitment co-ordinator looking for a new challenge within a local authority where you can add real value to our people and community?

We are looking for a Talent Attraction Co-ordinator to provide a first class, customer focused support to our direct recruitment and temporary agency contract.

This is an ideal role for someone who has experience of recruitment and administration to join our Talent Attraction Team. In this role you will support our project of improvements to talent attraction, direct recruitment and effective usage/reduction of agency staff where possible.

The Role

  • You will be processing requests to recruit and agency worker booking/extension requests, arranging for vacancies to be advertised either via our Applicant Tracking System or our Agency Managed Service Provider’s booking system.
  • You will be the first point of contact for queries relating to agency worker bookings and extensions.
  • You will support the Talent Attraction Lead with administration/implementation around the Talent Attraction Project to improve our direct recruitment process/procedure and reduce our usage of agency staff wherever possible.
  • You will work alongside the Talent Attraction Business Partner providing expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on direct recruitment and recruitment of temporary agency workers via our Managed Service Provider.

Our ideal candidate would have the following skills and attributes…

  • Experience working within a recruitment environment, either internally or in an agency setting.
  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • A good level of written English
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and finding new ways to attract talent.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A good understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
