Job description
Our client is seeking a seasoned Tax Credits Attorney with over 7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in tax credit financing, including renewable energy, affordable housing, and economic development. This position is available in multiple locations: Austin, Chicago, Collin County, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, San Francisco, Scottsdale, and Washington D.C.In this role, the Tax Credits Attorney will act as a subject matter expert, providing advisory services to clients throughout the entire tax credit finance lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs)
- Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits (HTCs)
- Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
- Renewable Energy Tax Credits (RETCs)
- Opportunity Zones
The salary range for this position is $225,000 – $300,000 per year, based on a full-time schedule. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as a portable business book, qualifications, relevant experience, skill set, training, internal equity, and market data.
