MPS / UPS + SEN 2Required from 01/09/2024We are looking to recruit an inspirational and motivated Food Studies Teacher, who is also able to offer Creative Arts and who wants to be part of a highly successful, collaborative and supportive team.Clare Mount Specialist Sports College has a record of high standards and was again judged ‘Outstanding’ in the last inspection. The school is one of the largest special schools in the UK for students with Autism, speech difficulties, moderate learning difficulties and additional needs. In addition to the main subject of Food Studies we welcome a practitioner who has is willing to teach some Creative Arts and additional subjects.The school also welcomes passionate and enthusiastic newly qualified teachers (ECT) to apply for this position.The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and be excited about teaching their subject. They will also be able to create a high-quality learning environment in which students are passionate about learning, maintain high standards of planning, assessment and record keeping, and to communicate effectively with staff, parents and students. Along with departmental colleagues they will plan, implement and monitor a range of strategies to promote a love of food, nutrition and creative arts across the school community.Clare Mount Specialist Sports College offers you:
