Hays Education are recruiting for a Teacher of Mathematics job at a North Leicester city based sixth form college. This is a full-time and ongoing job to start as soon as possible. To be successful you will be a Mathematics specialist and have experience teaching at KS5 – A-Level. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in KS5 & A-Level.
- Preparing and marking assignments, tests, and exams.
- Providing feedback to students and parents on student progress.
- Contributing to the development of the Maths curriculum.
- Participating in departmental meetings and school events.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Maths to students in KS5 – A-Level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and a desire to inspire students.
