Simply education is looking for a Teacher to support their SEND school! You will have a class of 6 to 15 students depending on the needs in the classroom to teach and support. As a Teacher you will be expected to support their EHCP needs and follow the curriculum set out to help the students thrive, develop and achieve. Within the role as a Teacher, you will be supporting different learning difficulties and may also have students with trauma, anxiety and behaviour challenges.
A special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) school in Northamptonshire is seeking to hire a qualified, dedicated QTS Teacher to join our close-knit team. You will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to students aged 5-16 with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, sensory impairments and other needs.
Responsibilities:
Planning creative, tailored lessons and modifying curriculum to suit students’ individual needs
Employing specialized teaching strategies to support students with learning difficulties
Marking work and providing feedback to enable progress
Tracking academic and social development and making adjustments
Communicating with families to provide updates and coordinate support
Maintaining an organized, positive classroom environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEND children
Strong understanding of specific learning disabilities
Resourcefulness and patience
Enthusiasm for making a difference in students’ lives
