Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant at a Mainstream Secondary School in Kensington and Chelsea!

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check on the update service (can be obtained through Tradewind)
  • A genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and personal development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to provide classroom support and one-on-one assistance to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help students with their classwork, reinforcing learning and offering guidance when needed.
  • Assist in the development of educational materials and resources.
  • Provide support for students with additional needs, ensuring they can fully participate in class activities.
  • Act as a positive role model for students, encouraging their personal and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team, parents, and other professionals to support the overall development of students.
  • Maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
