Position: Teaching Assistant – SENBorough: CroydonDaily Rate: £85 – 90 per dayBeginning: September 2024Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4pm, school terms onlyAbout the School:This Croydon-based primary school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for all children, with a special focus on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Through collaboration with parents, staff, and the community, they aim to develop future leaders and ensure a smooth transition to secondary education.As a Teaching Assistant you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering their curriculum, with a focus on SEN pupils.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organization, ensuring accessibility for all pupils.
• Provide one-on-one support to SEN pupils who need additional help.
• Help foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

About You:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for working with children, especially those with SEN.
• Patient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with SEN pupils.
• Committed to our core values of Passion, Urgency, Positivity, Aspiration, and Commitment.
• Previous Teaching Assistant experience highly desirable
