As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND.
– Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
– Adapt learning materials to meet the individual needs of students.
– Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
– Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and report on student progress.
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.Requirements:
– Experience working with children with SEND.
– A compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
– Relevant qualifications in education or SEND support (preferred but not essential).
