If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Maths Department at a thriving secondary school in Rawtenstall. Our school prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Maths Department in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting classroom activities.
  • Work closely with teachers to provide targeted support for students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students who need extra help.
  • Assist with the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A strong background in Mathematics, ideally with a relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
