Teaching AssistantNCDAT Grade 2Term Time + 2 WeeksPart Time 20 Hours per weekWorking Pattern 12.00 – 4.00, Monday – FridayTo Start ASAPWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Catchgate Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning in a dynamic and caring environment.As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to implement planned learning activities, provide feedback on pupil progress, and support pupils’ social and emotional well-being. You will help monitor, assess, and record pupil activities while contributing to creating a positive learning environment. Your role will also involve preparing classroom resources, supervising pupils throughout the day, and assisting with educational visits.We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and positive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. You should have an NVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and possess good numeracy and literacy skills. Experience working in an educational setting, particularly with children with additional needs, is desirable.If you are committed to supporting children’s development and have a keen understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, we would love to hear from you.
