GSL is proud to be working exclusively with a bunch of lovely Primary Schools in Romsey which is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistants to start immediately.

We are looking for proactive individuals to support KS1/ KS2 classes. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

Role and Responsibilities:

• 1:1 and small group work ensuring pupils stay on track with the curriculum.
• As a Teaching Assistant you will assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with the implementation of behaviour support strategies.
• As a Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
• As a Teaching Assistant you will foster positive relationships with students and support their social and emotional development.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
