- Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Assisting with classroom management
- Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching and learning
Required Qualifications:A relevant teaching assistant qualificationEducation:Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsExperience:Prior experience working in a classroom setting preferredKnowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of child development and learning processes
- Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:First Aid certificationWorking Conditions:This role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and term times. The Teaching Assistant may need to support students with special educational needs and disabilities.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
