- Provide support to students in class
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Utilise child-based experience to create positive learning environments
- Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
- Assist with classroom activities and provide 1:1 support for students with diverse learning needs
- Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed
- Opportunity for permanent placement based on performance
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a teaching assistant role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
- Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
- A good understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student learning and well-being
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to undergo the check
